Ecotainable® is a new line of nursery containers and packs designed to provide an ecologically responsible and economically viable solution for plant packaging to the nursery industry. Q. Will they work in my automated nursery machinery? A. Yes, they will work with the same efficiency as your conventional petroleum-based plastic containers and packs without any adjustments to your machinery. Q. How much will they cost? A. Currently, Ecotainable® containers and packs will cost more than conventional petroleum-based products, but as non-renewable petroleum and natural gas prices rise, this price differential will be mitigated. Furthermore, because Ecotainable® containers can be made from a variety of renewable and sustainable plant starches, prices are less likely to fluctuate as compared to petroleum-based plastics. Q. Where can I buy Ecotainable® containers and packs? A. Ecotainable® products are positioned to create a whole new green category of plant packaging for the nursery industry.
